Thanksgiving Reheating Instructions
Turkey Roast Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a measuring cup combine: 2 cups vegetable broth, 3 Tablespoons olive oil, and a splash of soy sauce.
- Unwrap turkey roast completely, and add it to a baking dish with the fresh herbs.
- Use half the vegetable broth mixture to baste turkey.
- Cook for 20 minutes, and then baste again with remaining broth mixture.
- Cook for an additional 20-30 minutes, checking & basting periodically until the turkey is heated through.
Soup:
- If you’re heating in the microwave. Loosen lid, and microwave for one minute. Then check every 30 seconds until heated through.
- If you’re heating in a pot. Put on the stove at a med/low temperature and wait for the soup to simmer stirring frequently until heated through.
Mashed Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Stuffing, Green Bean Casserole:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Bake sides with the lid on for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove the lid.
- Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until desired crispiness.
Gravy:
- If you’re heating gravy in the microwave. Loosen lid and microwave for a minute. Stir well. Continue heating in 30 second intervals stirring well each time until heated through.
- If you’re heating gravy in a pot. Set the stove to a low temperature, stir continuously, and wait for the gravy to simmer.
